"See You Again" is a song by American rapper Wiz Khalifa, featuring American vocalizer-songwriter Charlie Puth. It was commissioned for the soundtrack of the 2015 film Furious 7 every bit a tribute to actor Paul Walker, who died in a single-vehicle accident on November 30, 2013. The music video was the almost viewed video on YouTube from July 10 to August 4, 2017. "See You Again" received three nominations at the 58th Almanac Grammy Awards: Song of the Year, All-time Popular Duo/Group Functioning and Best Vocal Written for Visual Media. It was also shortlisted for the Vocal of the Year for the BBC Music Awards and was nominated for All-time Original Vocal at the 73rd Gold Globe Awards.[3] "Come across You Over again" was the best selling-vocal of 2015 worldwide, with combined sales and runway-equivalent streams of 20.9 million units according to IFPI.[4]
Writing and development [edit]
"See You Again" was written past DJ Frank E, Charlie Puth, Wiz Khalifa, and Andrew Cedar. It was produced by DJ Frank E, Charlie Puth, and Andrew Cedar.[v] Frank E and Puth were approached by their publishing visitor, Artist Publishing Grouping, to develop a melody that could pay tribute to actor Paul Walker for the film Furious 7 (2015). The video begins with a shot of a cliff pinnacle at dusk, followed by Khalifa walking downwards a highway road.
